Day 28 of the 30 Day Challenge " Standing Out in the Crowd"

A study for a Valentine's Day painting. The red rose was a bear to get proportioned correctly. At first, I painted it way too large, but I am happy with the final results. All of my paintings, for the challenge, are painted on 5" x 7" canvas board.
