Developing a Critical Eye

Service Description

Join artist Lori Racicot for a two hour online ZOOM workshop designed to help you begin to develop a critical eye necessary to critique your paintings. In the first part of the workshop, Lori will discuss various criteria you can use to analyze your artwork, while showing you examples of her paintings that she has reworked after careful analysis. In the second part of the workshop, Lori will work with participants to critique their paintings using the methods she discussed previously. Class size is limited and participants are encouraged to submit images of up to two paintings prior to the workshop for critique.** Participants do NOT have to submit paintings for critique to attend the workshop. Up to a month after the workshop, April 20, 2021, participants can submit reworked paintings to Lori for additional feedback/comments via email.
