Day 19 of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge - "Coneflowers at Colonial Williamsburg"

January 20, 2015

I usually don't edit my photos, but today, I was playing around with the brightness of my photo and came across the black and white setting.  I really liked the effect, so I thought I would post both, the edited one and the original, for you and maybe tomorrow actually paint my painting using only greys.  It would be a good exercise for me to take on.   Paintings in the 30 day challenge, see previous posts, produced this month as part of Leslie Seata's 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge.  All of my paintings, for the challenge, are painted on 5" x 7" canvas board.  I am selling them, unframed, for $95 plus shipping/handling of $9.99 (in the continental U.S.), and CT sales tax, if you are a resident of CT.  If you are interested in purchasing one of my paintings, please send me an e-mail at LoriRacicot@gmail.com.
